Cost-Share Programs
Kanabec SWCD offers cost-share assistance to help landowners, agricultural producers, and local partners complete conservation projects that protect soil, water, and natural resources across Kanabec County, including areas within the Snake River Watershed, Kettle/Upper St. Croix Watershed, and Rum River Watershed.
These programs are supported through a mix of local, state, and federal funding — including the Watershed-Based Implementation Funding (WBIF) grant — and are designed to reduce barriers to conservation by covering a portion of eligible project costs.
Whether you’re working to reduce runoff, restore a shoreline, improve soil health, or protect drinking water, our team can help you plan a project and connect you with the technical and financial support needed to move it forward.
